If you aren't sure what to get a new mommy, whether you're a new father or significant other, friend, grandparent or family member- think of what you would want to receive as a first Mothers Day gift from baby. What do you think the new mommy in your life would want or appreciate? The key is to find something that speaks of the wonder and blessing of being a new mommy and the joy of having a new baby. When shopping for a first Mothers Day gift from baby, keep in mind that there's not much use in buying things like perfume, clothes, cosmetics or anything like that- unless you are absolutely certain of what the new Mommy likes or wears. Besides, these types of things aren't really something "special" to give "from" baby, these are gifts that can be given by family, friends, significant others FROM family, friends or significant others.

A gift from baby needs to speak of the special bond between mother and child, the joy of a new baby, and the joys of motherhood. Let your imagination go, and look for something simple yet meaningful.
